Wallet screening is the process of examining risk indicators through an address and supported chain data. The first step is determining the correct network and analysis scope.

## Network and address

A valid address format does not by itself show that the correct network was selected. On networks that share address formats, network information may be needed separately.

## Reading the result

Separate a direct record, an indirect relationship and the transaction context. Do not decide by colour or label alone without knowing analysis depth and data freshness.

## Use on a crypto platform

In onboarding or transfer review, link the screening result to the relevant customer and transaction reference. A single query is not a guarantee that the wallet has carried no risk in the past or will carry none in the future.
